🌺 MYO stands for Make Your Own. This is an item on Planet Xaoc that grants you the ability to turn a design you have made yourself into an official character in the masterlist. For more information, browse the tabs below:

🌺 Before attempting to design or get yourself an MYO slot, we highly encourage you to read through our Terms of Service and Base Lore - this will help you get acquainted with mandatory rules to follow and general species info in Planet Xaoc!

🌺 Please keep in mind that your art and designs should not disrespect nor harm pre-existing characters, property, copyrighted media, cultures, and persons. Strictly no real life person referencing, bigoted, military/cop propaganda, or hateful basis for designs.

🌺 You are allowed to use characters that you have designed AND own yourself as a mild inspiration, but please make sure they are not too similar to the point of being mistaken as a duplicate! We do not allow heavy referencing on Planet Xaoc.

🌺 If you want to make a physically different version of your Planet Xaoc character as an Alternate Universe version (humanoid, other anthros, other species) - please make sure you have the explicit permission of the artist before doing so. These AU variants are locked in ownership with you alongside the Planet Xaoc version. Upon transfer, all designs sharing such AUs must be bundled together.

🌺 You are allowed to commission an artist to design your MYO slot, as long as they follow the design guidelines and are open to potential corrections along the way. Official artistic contributors on Planet Xaoc may also offer designing services found under the contact tab.

🌺 All official MYO slots can be gifted, traded, or resold depending on its listed attributes noted in its INFO section. All of these are recorded in our masterlist, viewable here:

MYO MASTERLIST

🌺 Files must always be 1500x1500 pixels or smaller! Ensure that they are no more than 2MB, or else it will be denied and sent back to you.

🌺 Traits and Rarities are an integral part of designing characters in Planet Xaoc. These categories will determine what your character will physically look like.

🌺 Traits refer to the physical attributes of a character (head, body, tail, wings, etc.) while Rarity is its modifier and indicates if this trait is easier or harder to obtain. Each species have varying categories of traits, but there is only five categories for rarities in Planet Xaoc. In lore, these are:

• COMMON, RARE, and MYSTICAL - These are physical attributes that Planet Xaoc characters are able to obtain through living out their lives.

• SACRED - These are skill-oriented traits that lore-wise Planet Xaoc characters obtain via reading, learning, and mastered through rigorous training. Oftentimes these traits does not have to be present in the masterlist image itself, but can definitely change the character's appearance in a stark manner.

• ANOMALY - Also known as anomalous traits; these are physical attributes that intentionally attempts to bend the rules with Planet Xaoc species' default anatomy. This is often caused by a severely impactful event in the character's personal lore.

🌺 All MYO slots come with predetermined attributes and limitations. By default, all MYO slots are allowed to use any amount of common traits. Beyond that, please keep these restrictions in mind:

• COMMON - This is the default MYO slot. This can be designed with any amount of common traits.

• RARE - This MYO slot can use any amount of common and rare traits.

• MYST - This MYO slot can use any amount of common, rare, and mythical traits.

• SACRED - This MYO slot can use any amount of common, rare, mythical, and sacred traits.

• UNLI - This MYO slot can use any amount of common, rare, mythical, sacred, and anomalous traits.

• #[RARITY] - This MYO slot can only be designed with the specific amount of traits in its name. For example, if it states "2RARE 2MYTH" it can only use any common traits, 2 rare traits, and 2 mythical traits upon approval.

🌺 Through raffles, contests, ARPG events, and more - blank traits can also be added to characters and MYO slots! Meaning, a user is able to add a trait to their existing masterlist entry if this prize is obtained.

🌺 Do not remove the watermarks. These bases are only for official MYOs or officially masterlisted characters.

🌺 Please do not redistribute these bases in any form. They are not allowed to be used for Planet Xaoc adopts or unregistered/fan characters. They cannot be turned into different species nor other ARPGs outside of Planet Xaoc.

🌺 Purchased singular/blank traits will be noted in a character or MYO slot masterlist entry's STATS tab. This will also increase its monetary value.

🌺 One slot allows the creation of any one specie. You can take as much time as you need to use your purchased MYO slot! There is no deadline.

🌺 We strive our best to make Planet Xaoc as accessible as possible, especially through the 2024 ARPG we are currently working on. However, maintaining this website and its costs, making sure the masterlist is always updated, creating unique artwork, character designs, and so on - are all activities that take a lot of time and energy to process, especially since many of the staff have respective dayjobs. Funds earned from these sales truly help us in the long run in keeping the project alive and going!
