WEBSITE INFO REGISTRATION USER MENU PROFILE FEATURES

🌺 This is an artistic passion project that started all the way back to 2017 by the user ocularguts, also known as Oats online. Oats go by any pronouns. They are a digital artist from Southeast Asia who has a fondness for monster designs and abstract art. By continiously developing this project, they are able to make Planet Xaoc into a fully fledged art-based roleplaying game website on September 2023! This website is geared towards everyone who enjoys creating, writing, and drawing fictional characters in a pre-existing online worldbuild.

🌺 This website is currently in its public beta testing phase. Meaning, bugs are normal and many images are simply placeholders. Currently ocularguts and the team are on a break and will resume webdev for the ARPG-functions by next year, in 2024.

🌺 Xaoc, and other fictional terms starting with X, is pronounced like Z. Its major themes are sci-fi horror and surrealism with hints of solarpunk and fantasy. Participants are required to be 16 years of age or older due to its dereality and horror content. As of this writing, Planet Xaoc is inhabited by four main species: the Xaeco, Xatli, Xulap, and Xopas.

🌺 The game's goal is simple: to create characters and to have fun participating in story events using those characters! There are many ways to enjoy this project. It can be by collecting character designs for art ethusiasts or by developing well crafted stories with friends in private!

🌺 Please note that Planet Xaoc is considered P2R (Pay To Register). Using our concepts for private personal use is allowed and free, such as:

• Creating a race or story in your TTRPG sessions with your friends, that are non-profit and private.
• Sharing concepts and ideas within the discord community for brainstorming purposes.
• Writing and involving your non-Xaoc world characters (one-offs) in the lore that we have for your personal story.
• More will be added to this list when we are asked - please feel free to reach out if you are unsure! We are open to discussing with you as long as our creations are treated with care, respect, and no involvement with themes that are bigoted or in advocacy of illegal and harmful activities.

🌺 Besides the list above, please remember that Planet Xaoc is a labor of love by ocularguts and their team. Please remember to credit where credit is due. Do not claim our works as your own. Do not try to profit off of the project if you are not an admin or official guest artist. Maintaining this website and its costs, making sure the masterlist is updated, creating unique artwork, character designs, and so on - are all activities that take a lot of time and energy to process especially since many of the staff have our respective dayjobs. If you would like to support us - event participation, purchasing creation slot sales, digital art adoptables and commissions on Planet Xaoc all help us keep this project alive and going.

🌺 Lastly, please note that this website prohibits any form of art theft, plagiarism, heavy referencing of others' property (including IP and/or copyright), any and all forms of AI-art and training, as well as Non-Fungible Tokens and cryptocurrency transactions of any sort.

🌺 Our vision and mission for the world of Xaoc is to continually develop a character community that has simple ARPG elements, while sharing my [ocularguts'] love for monster designs and dereality themed stories to others! :) Currently the site is able to:

• Allow registration of users. This in turn allows them to create and modify their own accounts which has a picture and bio.
• Allow admin reports through a ticket system handled by our official staff.
• Have a public comment and reply system.
• Showcase a responsive masterlist with hyperlinked traits, rarities. This masterlist also has a multiple image tab function.
• Automate transfer requests of characters, items, and currency among users.
• Automate approvals for MYO designs and Redesigns.
• Automate ARPG shop purchases (trait upgrades, collectibles, pets, etc) and usage of such.
• Showcase badges in profiles carried over from past ARPG events.

🌺 While most of the features above is functional, please note that some are in the process of being integrated into the website. The staff are still working on the finishing some of the necessary art assets. For a full list of future plans + bugs the staff are currently working on, please refer to ROADMAP (under INFO menu) and/or HELP TICKETS (under CONTACT menu).

🌺 Upon site entry, you will be greeted by our upper menu / navigation bar that serves the following purposes:

🌺 NEWS - Here you'll find our latest bulletins about website updates, character design sales, and current or upcoming events.

🌺 INFO - These are pages that aim to inform users on the basics of the website. This also includes personal plans moving forward, our rules and regulations, as well as privacy policies.

🌺 LORE - These pages detail the story elements of Planet Xaoc and what it is all about.

🌺 MASTERLIST - A large codex of officially registered characters of Planet Xaoc and what ARPG attributes they hold.

🌺 CREATE - These are tutorials on how to create an official character on Planet Xaoc.

🌺 ARPG - These pages contain information about our art roleplaying game and its services.

🌺 CONTACT - Links within this help users reach out directly to our creators and official website staff, alongside members of the community.

🌺 ACTIVITY & USER - If you have an account, these two menus will contain links that relates to perusing the services of our website, alongside settings to adjust your profile.

🌺 If you do not have an account, LOGIN & REGISTER will be on the menu bar's rightside. You can get started by registering on our website.

🌺 You must be sixteen (16) years of age or older.

🌺 Please ensure that you have thoroughly read our Terms of Service. This page states our rules and regulations and how we handle characters officially registered in our masterlist.

🌺 It is also significant to read and agree Privacy Policies. This informs you of your rights to privacy when providing personally identifying information to Planet Xaoc and its official staff when registering.

🌺Moving forward, the below is what our registration form looks like:

🌺 Once successful, check your email to confirm. Please make sure to double check your spam/junk folder in case you aren't able to find the confirmation email. Afterwards, please login and verify your account by connecting it to your ToyHouse, deviantART, or tumblr handle (this is necessary for extra security). If you need a ToyHouse invite code, feel free to reach out to ocularguts directly! Just add a note that you are coming from Planet Xaoc, and we are happy to provide you with an invite code.

🌺 You can obtain an character or creation slot registered in the website's official masterlist through the following means:

• Free to join monthly raffles hosted on our site raffles.

• Obtaining a character creation slot through methods noted in our myo info.

• Reaching out to owners with characters that are up for sale or trade or the official discord server's advertisement channels.

• Purchasing adopts for sale when official and guest artists announce a sales in their respective social media accounts. These may also be announced in our official news bulletins.

🌺 Once you have successfully verified your account, you will have access to the ACTIVITY and USER menu on your right.

🌺 PROFILE - Clicking this will bring you to your personal profile page.

🌺 NOTIFICATIONS - Clicking this will bring you to your inbox containing notifications regarding admins updating your characters, design approvals or rejections, comments, character transfers, and item trades.

🌺 SETTINGS - Here you will be able to modify your profile page. This includes your profile picture, bio text, website themes (currently still in progress), birthday publicity, updating your email address, changing your password and adding or removing aliases of your account.

🌺 MY CHARACTERS - This is a place to view all your officially registered Planet Xaoc characters. You can also sort their order (that will reflect on your profile page) however you'd like. Just make sure to click SAVE ORDER at the bottom after.

🌺 MY MYO SLOTS, INVENTORY, BANK, AND AWARDS - These menus are self-explanatory. They hold information about your creation slots officially on the website, your items, and your currency from ARPG participation.

🌺 LOGOUT - This exit button will conclude your usage of the website. You will need to login again to access your account once more.

🌺 DESIGN DRAFTS & PROMPTS - Here you'll be able to see the status and summary of all your pending design approvals (including redesigns) and pending prompts you've submitted. It usually takes a mod about a maximum of one week to process these requests.

🌺 TRANSFERS & ITEM TRADES - Here'll you'll be able to view what pending character transfers and item trading requests you've sent to other members. For character transfers, it may take a maximum of one week for a mod to approve before it shows up in your profile.

🌺 PRIZE CODES & RAFFLES - Here you will be able to unlock freebies through an announced code or use a raffle ticket to participate in our time limited giveaways.

🌺 BOOKMARKS - Where characters' masterlist entries that you have bookmarked will be stored.

🌺 By clicking on the PROFILE menu, you will see the following sections:

🌺 BIO - This uppermost section of your profile page is divided into two parts. On the left part, you have your profile picture and basic account info. And on the right part, is your personalized bio text (which starts out empty upon registration). These can be edited by visiting the SETTINGS menu.

🌺 AWARDS - These are badges, stickers, and marbles that are given to a user for participating in our ARPG events. It can showcase only four at a time and are ordered via most recents to oldest.

🌺 CHARACTERS - Here you will find your officially registered characters on Planet Xaoc.

🌺 PETS - Here you will find all your pets adopted from the bestiary and opened via your inventory. This includes pets that are attached and not attached to your characters.

🌺BANK & INVENTORY - These two log your currency and unused items gained from participating in our ARPG.

🌺 COMPLETED COLLECTIONS - These are a list of your completed collections from our ARPG item requirements.

🌺 COMMENTS - A place where you, community members, and admins may leave a public message.
