🌏 This website is an artistic passion project that started all the way back to 2017 by user ocularguts, also known as "O" online, and goes by any pronouns. They are a digital artist from Southeast Asia who has a fondness for monster designs and abstract art. This website is geared towards anyone who enjoys creating, writing, and drawing fictional characters in a pre-existing online worldbuild of monsters and aliens.

🌱 Xaoc, and other fictional terms starting with X, is pronounced like Z. Its major themes are science-fiction horror and surrealism, with hints of solarpunk and fantasy. Participants are required to be 16 years of age or older due to its cartoon violence and horror aspects.

🌏 As of this writing, Planet Xaoc is inhabited by four main species: Xaeco (anthropomorphic alien rabbits), the Xatli (anthropomorphic dragons with satellite themes), Xopas (slime creatures), and Xulap (fish monsters).

🌱 The game's goal is simple: to create characters and to have fun participating in story events using those characters! There are many ways to enjoy this project. It can be by collecting character designs for art ethusiasts or by developing well crafted stories with friends in private!

🌏 Planet Xaoc is considered P2R (Pay To Register), so expenses are only made if you wish to have your character onsite officially as this requires site maintenance. However, using our concepts for private personal use, is allowed and free! Such as:

• Creating a race or story in your TTRPG sessions with your friends, that are non-profit and private.
• Sharing concepts and ideas within the discord community for brainstorming purposes.
• Writing and involving your non-Xaoc world characters (one-offs) in the lore that we have for your personal story.
• More will be added to this list when we are asked - please feel free to reach out if you are unsure! We are open to discussing with you as long as our creations are treated with care, respect, and no involvement with themes that are bigoted or in advocacy of illegal and harmful activities.

🌏 Besides the list above, please remember that Planet Xaoc is a labor of love by ocularguts and their team. Please remember to credit where credit is due.

🌱 Do not claim our works as your own. Do not try to profit off of the project if you are not an admin or official guest artist. Maintaining this website and its costs, making sure the masterlist is updated, creating unique artwork, character designs, and so on - are all activities that take a lot of time and energy to process especially since many of the staff have our respective dayjobs.

🌏 If you would like to support us - event participation, purchasing creation slot sales, digital art adoptables and commissions on Planet Xaoc all help us keep this project alive and going.

🌱 Lastly, Planet Xaoc prohibits any and all forms of art theft, plagiarism, heavy referencing of others' property (including IP and/or copyright), any and all forms of AI-art and training, as well as Non-Fungible Tokens and cryptocurrency transactions of any sort.

💙 SETTINGS - Here you will be able to modify your profile page. This includes your profile picture, bio text, website themes (currently still in progress), birthday publicity, updating your email address, changing your password and adding or removing aliases of your account.

💜 FORUMS - This brings you to the community's public social bulletins.

🤎 BOOKMARKS - Where characters' masterlist entries that you have bookmarked will be stored.

🤍 LOGOUT - This exit button will conclude your usage of the website. You will need to login again to access your account once more.

🍀 BIO - Your username, account details, and personalize display text that can be edited via settings. You can also check your personal gallery, user settings, activity history, and other settings via the dropdowns below.
