The following Terms of Service extends to all of Planet Xaoc's official communication hubs and websites that are created and moderated by its founder, user ocularguts, and their official staff. These areas are as follows:

• The official toyhouse world group - https://toyhou.se/~world/85053.xaoc

You agree to our terms by using Planet Xaoc's available services and participating in our official communication hubs. As a member of Planet Xaoc's community, it is your responsibility to report individuals who violate Planet Xaoc's policies. This in turn will help staff keep Planet Xaoc a safespace.

Please note that while our rules and regulations attempts to cover as much interaction related to Planet Xaoc and its content and community where it could, we cannot guarantee security nor fully regulate activities conducted in third-party websites or unofficial and fan-made pages, Discord servers, chatrooms, or other miscelleneous places that official Planet Xaoc staff did not make nor approve.

Moving forward, Planet Xaoc (noted through verbage of "admins", "staff", "Us", "We", and "Our") will be covering the following topics of our privacy policy below:

Planet Xaoc uses multiple abbreviation and terminologies coined from artistic fictious specie communities groups on the internet. The definitions are as follows below, to keep you informed should they appear in our website's pages and documents:

• ARPG refers to Art Roleplaying Game. These are communities of creatives that enjoy participating in a system that involves drawing, writing, or other forms of creative works using their original characters made based off of a pre-existing fictional worldbuild online.

• PX is a shorthand for Planet Xaoc that official staff or chatrooms may use when referring to our website or ARPG world.

• OC refers to Original Character. This is a custom made design that belongs to and is made by a user.

• Species refer to the fictional inhabitants of Planet Xaoc, which are the Xaeco, Xatli, Xopas, and Xulap.

• MYO refers to Make Your Own. This refers to an item found on Planet Xaoc that functions as an official creation slot. Once an admin approves the usage of this item through design approvals, the user's creations will be officially masterlisted on Planet Xaoc.

• FCFS refers to First Come First Serve, which means that priority is given to users with the fastest responses when claiming to buy a character design or official creation slot on Planet Xaoc.

• FFA means Free For All. That means a site-held giveaway can be entered by any users of Planet Xaoc's community.

• Adoptables refers to digital character designs that is up for sale by an artist online.

• One-offs refer to character designs that have no relation to Planet Xaoc in anyway, nor any similar website communities that have their own original species and worldbuild.

• Auction refers to a type of online adoptable sale that involves increments of monetary bidding among users. Auctions have specified limitations and a timeframe noted by the artist or host.

• OTA refers to Offer to Adopt. This is a form of selling or trading a character design, whereas the owner or artist notes parameters and preferences they are looking for in the process of wanting to rehome a character design they own.

• FTO or NO means First Time Owner or Non-Owner. This means that the user does not currently own any Planet Xaoc character in the masterlist.

• AO means Already Owner. This means that the user does currently owns one or more Planet Xaoc character/s in the masterlist.

• NFS or NFT means Not For Sale or Not For Trade. An owner labels their characters with this as a note that the character is not in the nor are they seeking any offers.

• Vouchers refer to when a user is looking for money offers on a character they own that is locked under trade-only attribute. This means that the owner of the character is seeking  an amount and purpose (that is admin-approved), that an interested buyer or third person is willing to pay for. This payment should not touch the hands of the original character owner, but only directly sent to the admin approved purpose. These purposes must only be in form of a digital art commission, a digital writing commission, or a digital character design up for sale by an artist online. Physical goods are not allowed for vouchers, as we prohibit the exchange of any personally-identifying information among our users during Planet Xaoc transfers and transations.

• Swaps refer to when a user is seeking offers on their Planet Xaoc character, but only in exchange for Planet Xaoc characters as well.

Section I of our Terms of Service covers user etiquette. All persons must abide by these code of conduct at all times when participating in Planet Xaoc's official communities, character ownership of its species, and any other services we provide.

Failure to abide by these rules will result to a warning strike, temporary suspension, or permanent ban depending on the severity and repetition of the acts committed.

A.) Participants of Planet Xaoc are required to be 16 years of age or older.

B.) Only one account per person. A user discovered to be multi-accounting will be permanently banned. If you wish to change your username, please file a help ticket.

C.) Please be kind to the community members and its official staff. The creators of Planet Xaoc appreciate participation and suggestions of our worldbuild, however, please note that we are only a small team. We require patience and understanding as we also need time to prioritize our health and respective dayjobs outside of this project.

D.) Avoid discomforting remarks or actions towards Planet Xaoc's userbase and official staff. This includes art or design theft, public venting, namedropping, bringing up drama, guilttripping, begging, verbal harassment, insults, and other related petty and malicious correspondence. Negatively manipulating the emotions of a community member or official staff about their adoptables, characters, or site inventory is strictly prohibited.

E.) No usage of slurs in any form. Swearing is fine, but please keep it in moderation.

F.) Avoid posting any form of personally-identitfying information or photos of yourself or of others. This includes selfies, schooling location, specific personal residency indicators, or the like. If an official staff spots such info in our communication hubs, it will be deleted and the user will be given a cautionary warning.

G.) No discussion, posting, encouragement or perpetuating of illegal and harmful activity or communications. This refers to the prohibition of non-consensual acts, glorification of extreme violence, cyberbullying, zoophilia, pedophilia, necrophilia, incest, sexism, racism, nazism, lgbtphobia, and any other forms of bigotry or discrimination outside and inside of Planet Xaoc's premises. Hateful content, discussion, and related remarks are considered harassment and is not tolerated in Planet Xaoc. Such users caught doing so will be given an immediate parmanent ban from all of Planet Xaoc's services without any warning, followed by their characters removed and voided from the masterlist, and their profile page inaccessible.

H.) No solicitations of any form. This refers to messaging a community member or official staff to offer on their characters or site inventory without their permission or explicit advertising post in the appropriate places.

I.) No posting of explicit sexual content in Planet Xaoc's website and official communication hubs. This includes artworks, links, memes, discussions, and the like.

J.) Planet Xaoc allows the sharing of horror themed media only under specific conditions. Please ensure these are artistic, cartoon, fictional, and not fetish-oriented. Users are required to ensure such sharing is appropriately trigger warning tagged or spoilered, and placed in the correct sharing locations within our official communication hubs. Planet Xaoc does not allow the sharing nor discussion of content that involves glorification of violence and information regarding real-life events and persons; such as true crime, procedural, or courtroom television drama.

K.) Users using Planet Xaoc's services, market areas, and other related spaces in order to find loopholes within our Terms of Service or of other's ARPGs will be given a strike, suspension, or a permanent ban depending on the severity of each case.

Section II of our Terms of Service covers the proper use of Planet Xaoc's official character designs and artworks inside and outside of our website and communication hubs.

A.) Officially masterlisted Planet Xaoc designs can be owned by only one user at a time per character. Co-ownership is prohibited and will not be acknowledged.

B.) Give credit where credit is due. Do not claim a piece of artwork, character design, or writing is made by you when it is created by someone else.

C.) Personalized stories, worldbuilding, and Alternate Universes (AUs) using your Planet Xaoc characters that do not conform to our canon lore is allowed.

D.) All Planet Xaoc character designs and artworks should not disrespect nor harm pre-existing characters, property of others, copyrighted media, cultures, and persons. Strictly no real life person referencing, bigoted, military and cop propaganda, or hateful basis during character and art creation within Planet Xaoc.

E.) Personal usage only. Fursuits, Virtual Reality models, and digital or physical items created for personal use and for fun is allowed. Please ensure that you have explicit permission to use the artwork or characters from their respective creators.

F.) Commercial purposes or profitable redistribution are prohibited. This includes the prohibition of mass-produced merchandise, game character, business mascot, streaming mascot (monetized video usages), and paywalls (such as VR 3D models only available to your patrons or your personal digital shop). Due to personal experience, we do not have the time to monitor its process nor write you a contract regarding such. Commercial rights cannot be bought from us.

G.) If you want to make a physically different version of your Planet Xaoc character as an Alternate Universe version (humanoid, other anthros, other species) - please make sure you have the explicit permission of the artist before doing so. The original basis and/or AU variants must be locked in ownership with you alongside the Planet Xaoc version. Upon transfer, all designs sharing such AUs must be bundled together.

 H.) A user is allowed to request their Planet Xaoc characters to be voided at anytime. To "Void" a character refers to the process of terminating the design's relation to Planet Xaoc via permanent deletion from the masterlist, or redesigning the character to remove distinguishable elements from its base species. One may do so by reaching out to any official staff via messaging @PlanetXaoc on our discord server, the on-site helpdesk or help tickets.

As a supplementary to Section II. OWNERSHIP & USAGE rules, Planet Xaoc would like to inform you about how characters, that are not registered in our official masterlist and made using our concepts and lore, will be handled:

• Unregistered characters refer to Planet Xaoc character designs that are not officially registered in our on-site Masterlist. They can also be called as "Fan Characters" of Planet Xaoc, as they reference our official species and concepts. Such designs did not go under admin approval, and their sole purpose is for personal use and for fun. It is a way to explore the project freely.

• As mentioned, unregistered Planet Xaoc designs or fan characters do not undergo admin approval, therefore may use whatever traits and rarities the designer would like. Because of this, such fan characters may not always have full anatomical accuracy and may require changes if the user decides to officiate them in the future. Users are still allowed to ask admins questions and guidance to polish their concepts anytime they wish to.

• Fan characters must still abide by our terms of service. They must not be used to harm others or existing property. They must not be traded or sold with the intention of profitting. They must not be used to find loopholes within Planet Xaoc's rules, other ARPGs' policies, or be in the possession of blacklisted users.

• Unregistered designs cannot be listed in Planet Xaoc's market spaces. Users suspected of creating Planet Xaoc fan characters in order to bypass our Terms of Service or the rules of other ARPGs may potentially get permanently banned and blacklisted.

• These characters cannot participate in our official ARPG events until they are officially registered through an MYO slot, event, or admin approved custom commission.

• When uploading unregistered Planet Xaoc characters off-site, please ensure to state that they are a fan character. This helps avoid potential misunderstandings or confusion for those seeking Planet Xaoc characters off-site.

Section III covers rules that must be followed when transferring or updating the ownership of your Planet Xaoc character/s.

A.) Masterlisted Planet Xaoc characters may be traded for other registered Planet Xaoc characters, vouchers, or creative services such as art. The recipient of a Planet Xaoc character must have an account on https://planet.xaoc.fun/.

Please Remember: To always validate and abide by a character's transfer attributes. This can be done by checking the STATS panel of a character's official masterlist entry. If you require assistance correcting your character's masterlisted attributes, please reach out to an official admin via messaging @PlanetXaoc on our discord server, the on-site helpdesk or admin tickets.

B.) All vouchers must be approved by an official admin first via messaging @PlanetXaoc on our discord server, the on-site helpdesk or admin tickets.

C.) Unapproved vouchering, scalping, and any other forms of upselling a Planet Xaoc character during or after transfers is strictly prohibited. If you need an appraisal or correction of your masterlisted character's value, please reach out to an official admin via messaging @PlanetXaoc on our discord server, the on-site helpdesk or admin tickets.

D.) A two day (48 hours) cooldown is automatically imposed after a character transfer request is approved on-site by an admin and all parties involved.

E.) Transferring Planet Xaoc character ownerships to blacklisted users is strictly prohibited and will result to an immediate ban.

As a supplementary to Section III. TRANSFERS, please be aware that Planet Xaoc would like to encourage the following martket etiquettes:

• Take time and care before finalizing your decision regarding a market transaction. Waiting until you are completely sure instead of impulsively trading minimizes the chances of regret and communication mishaps.

• Be clear and corteous when offering and accepting trades. For example, "I will offer a colored fullbody with shading" clearly outlines what you will be doing to complete the trade, while "I will offer a fullbody" can leave room for misinterpretation. Additionally, being clear in what you’re looking for is encouraged. Vague “entertaining offers” posts are not allowed, so please do not use the market simply for entertainment.

• If an artist cannot or refuses to complete their half of a trade, the trade is considered incomplete. If there is proof of lack of and/or refusal of communication for over three months with an incomplete trade, Planet Xaoc admins may return the character to its original owner if already transferred to the artist.

• Rapidly and repeatedly upselling or trading Planet Xaoc character for a “higher value” is often known as Scalping or Foddering. This is nuanced and we cannot enforce every instance of this, but abusing Planet Xaoc for profit is discouraged. 

• Users found repeatedly asking for “multiples” for a single Planet Xaoc character or large increases in sale price shortly after obtaining said character, may have their posts removed from the market.

• Users suspected of using Planet Xaoc to get around other ARPGs' policies will have their posts removed from the market. Such actions may also warrant a strike, suspension, or permanent ban depending on the severity of each case.

• If an artist is in the middle of, willing and capable of completing their half an agreed-upon trade, the other party may not cancel if progress is already made. Backing out after agreeing to an art trade that is already in progress without mutual agreement on the cancellation will give the user that cancelled a strike if requested by the artist, and possibly a ban if this behavior is repeated.

• In order to avoid the above scenarios, it is recommended to transfer the Planet Xaoc character only after the art trade has reached an agreed-upon midway point (for example, once the linework is completed) and pick offers from users that have a good amount of completed examples. Planet Xaoc admins are not responsible for ensuring that the results of creative services are satisfactory to the other party, but are open to serving strikes, suspensions, or bans depending on the severity of each case.

Section IV covers rules regarding sales conducted on Planet Xaoc. This refers to character designs available for purchase that are announced on our news bulletins, discord server, or toyhouse group.

A.) Only official admins and admin-approved guest artists are allowed to make designs for sale using Planet Xaoc's specie concepts.

B.) Only members who are 18 years old or above are allowed to make purchases through the use of real-world currency on Planet Xaoc and its communication hubs.

C.) All character design sales on Planet Xaoc and its communication hubs are final and non-refundable.

D.) Staff and official guest artists selling Planet Xaoc adoptables are allowed to deny sales based on their fair discretion. This is to avoid potential account farming or scams from occuring. Attempted purchases from off-site social media accounts that are no older than two weeks are likely to be rejected for safety reasons.

E.) All character design sales on Planet Xaoc are to be resolved within 24 hours. If the person claiming an adoptable fails to commit to their purchase, a different user will be considered. However, if the artist accepts payment plans, then this must be discussed and followed through accordingly.

F.) Scamming of any sort is prohbited. This includes despondent communications as well as claiming adoptables and failing to resolve payments regardless of reasons given. Please ensure that you have sufficient funds before participating in any of Planet Xaoc's sales. Users caught to be repeating such actions more than once in a row may result to a suspension or permanent ban.

G.) Members of the community who self-advertise their commission openings and creative services on Planet Xaoc's communication hubs must follow through. Failure to accomodate their clients, and reports of such, will result to a ban from our discord server.

Planet Xaoc may change and update its Terms of Service in our sole discretion. We encourage visitors to check this page frequently, in order to be informed of any potential updates. On the upper-left corner of this document, visitors are able to note when changes were last made.

If an edit outside of typograhpical or grammatical errors were made, such as new clauses, a news bulletin will be made in order to inform Planet Xaoc's userbase. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Terms of Service will constitute your acceptance of such change.

Please note that user reports are handled on a case by case basis. Please ensure that you are able to provide as much concrete evidence as possible when you have the intention of wanting to suspend or ban a malicious member.

We cannot act on claims solely under "good faith" that lacks any form of legitimate proof. However, community members are always welcome to warn our official staff to keep an eye out for potentially harmful users and suspicious activity within our community.
