🌺 My main goal was to have a working masterlist for the species, which we are genuinely glad that was accomplished last year! However, I didn't realize how intense the burnout I was going to go through after the site has been published. O(—( Admittedly, I am still recovering from such, while still focusing on offline matters [my job and health]. So to ensure things will be easier on myself and our small team moving forward, I have made the current roadmap to be flexible and easier to follow. :-]

🌺 I'll still be fixing big errors if they happen, as well as making Planet Xaoc adoptables + customs. And even if slow, we do actively go through the list of Guest Artists too, which you can apply for here:

🌺 To preface - with new features, come new bugs! Before sending reports, we'd like to inform you of our on-going plans and updated list of known site issues:

ROADMAP KNOWN BUGS

🌺 First - We now have a searchable FAQ! You can search for keywords and select categories. I'll be adding more questions throughout the coming weeks. View here:

🌺 Second - We now have a live clock! I will always place it in time-sensitive event pages (like the current MYO event), but if you look at our FOOTER too, it'll always be there! If you're logged in, you should also find it in your dashboard.

🌺 Third - The site recently went through a server migration causing downtimes. To compensate, we've decide to extend the current free MYO event to November 12th, 2023:

🌺 Fourth - We now have a WORK IN PROGRESS plain cursor darkmode and lightmode! You may change your "themes" through scrolling down in the site settings.

(Please note that some text bars may STILL be unreadable. We're working on it! If you are already on your preferred darkmode, we encourage you to reselect default darkmode + hit the Edit button for optimization reasons.)

🌺 Site updates aside - We are currently working on setting up our Sales page! After years of pause, I'm finally making a Planet Xaoc adopt batch again. This will be conducted alongside user Twin, a guest artist!

🌺 These designs will have a STAGGERED release! Meaning, the first half of mine and Twin's batch will go up by October 31st 2023 - 2PM EST / site clock. The latter half being within the first or second week of November depending on our availability. Appropriate announcements will be made to inform the community in advance!

🌺 These will be a mix of auctions and/or flatsales. All are First Come First Served! Preclaims/offers are not allowed for fairness. If you are in the discord server, those who have the adoptables ping role will be notified 24 hours before they officially go up for grabs! :]

🌺 First - You can now edit your character's profile bio through the masterlist! While we allow extensive HTML, please make sure you still follow the site's Terms of Service and do not include links/images that are inappropriate.

🌺 Additionally, big thanks to Pasta - we now have a trait term searcher on our masterlist index! There are also easy to find 🔁 TRANSFER and 🎨 UDPATE ART buttons on the bottom of your character's traits as well for ease of access.

🌺 Second - We are now open for legacy design reversions and value appraisals! During the masterlist port, not all USD values are carried over - you may do this via:

🌺 Third - An update on the ARPG is that we are currently working on remaking the assets for the Marbles and Items before carrying it over from the previous ARPG trello! Additionally, we are also working on pets when time allows! Currently, there was a high demand for worms, so we are starting with those first. Concepts and sketch progresses will roll throughout November and December.

🌺 If you have suggestions on what kind of pets you'd like to see, do let us know! Right now we have the following suggestions: Insects (Worms, Caterpillars, Bees), Fishes, Hermit Crabs, Microorganisms, Pigeons, Dinosaur-adjacent, and Puffballs. If you have other ideas in mind, feel free to comment below. :]

🌺 Secondly - As practiced before, we are going to do monthly freebies again! Typically one big design and three mythical tiered MYO slots will be raffled (may add more in the future as our community grows). This October, we have a gorgeous raffle design by arctusphere - A storybook Xulap!

🌺 Hello all, this is Oats (ocularguts). After five months of setting this up, I can finally say: Thank you for visiting my website! It is a work in progress, but I am very excited about where Planet Xaoc the ARPG (Art Roleplaying Game) is heading. :) The following tabs will summarize what's new:

🌺 We're now on LoreKeeper! It is a framework of code used for specie communities. I handle Xaoc primarily on my own and outside of my dayjob, so having processes automated helps so much. I'm hoping this will now give me more time to do worldbuilding, adopts, and new content for Xaoc moving forward. :)

🌺 ARPG belongings (pets, items, awards, badges, and others) are being processed throughout September to December 2023. Thank you for the patience as I carry over them from the Trello!

🌺 A lot of traits on Planet Xaoc got updated for further convenience and simplification. You can view these on the TRAITS page under the create menu.

🌺 I wanted to make sure duplicates are lessened and I can remember everything easily. Hopefully this will make approvals faster and with less confusion. A short summary:

• New general traits: Feelers, Goofy Lips, Crowded Limbs and Wyvern.

• Wing ears got merged with Crowded Wings.

• Xatli's ear traits now begin with "Feathered". Ribbon Feathered Ears got merged with Regular Feathered Ears.

• Double Ear & Tail traits got merged with Regular/Typical Ear & Tail traits.

• Xopas has new jelly window and feet traits.

• Xulap has new mouth traits.

• Hydra is now availalble for all species.
