COMMUNITY


 

SENTIENCE

 

As the Entity of Reality ceases to exist, it leaves behind millions of balls of cosmic energy. The lonely star-like eggs are carried across the cosmos by the energy of the explosion. Drifting further from the comfort of a united body, each tiny fraction finds home in a different shape. Attempting to regain familiarity, features borrowed from faint memories of the Entity of Reality’s whole - each fragment eventually snaps into a form that it is comfortable in. 

Visually, each fragment adapts to its new surroundings. Light years away from their origins, a new life is born with each remaining piece of the Entity. Reflecting the green shine of a serene meadow or the rough edges of a tall mountain, their form takes the freedom to belong somewhere by blending in.

Inhabitants of Xaoc harbour a certain level of sentience. Their knowledge of planets and realities is excessive, yet none of them cracked the question of how to alter it. Out of their reach, yet inside their radar, they undeniably do not lack determination. 

Even from the first moment of their awakening, they observe and calculate. Rapidly scanning their surroundings for any type of impulse, their databanks grow with each millisecond. Their reaction is immediate: beginning the development of night vision in dark areas or the studying of language. While the processes may fill a large amount of time, they certainly never stop developing and adapting.

The adaptation shall not be stopped by the limits of energy. In case of a creature snapping into a form that does not harbour enough power to maintain functioning organs - may that be an ear or a leg - their instincts kick in. Slowing their bodies to lay low, focusing their energy on sending transcelestial signals right back to the Hub. The transmission of this type of power, traversing realities and universes, may take up to centuries, yet the creature awaits the help of its siblings. More impatient creatures may choose to focus the energy on shifting dimensions in hope of harvesting more energy there.

 


 

SUSTENANCE, AGING, AND SHIFTING

 

No traditional aging may be observed in the creatures of Xaoc, yet their forms do fluctuate through their experiences in the cosmos, shifting through experience rather than time. Moving through the challenges of living, the jobs of their guild, curious explorations can all lead to modifications of one’s form. Their expanding knowledge of their state as abstract energy equips them to influence some of these changes. 

Thus, shapeshifting is a learned skill. However, swapping forms is also achievable through consuming certain substances available at the Planet Xaoc Hub. Researchers’ constant effort has led to understanding the nature of the Entity of Reality’s mutating components, allowing these substances to exist.

It is said that everything has an end, yet the creatures of Xaoc are quite foreign to the concept of death. Erasing an individual from existence can only be done through complicated means, and only by kin. The eradication process is incredibly challenging to begin, let alone reverse. The abstract energy that builds these fragments cannot be physically destroyed - it can only be reshaped or transferred. Therefore the death of a Xaoc creature must involve another absorbing it or an item containing it. May these transfers be done with no malicious intent, some even consider it a declaration of permanent companionship. 

 


 

SOCIAL TEMPERAMENT

 

Mortals are a dividing topic amongst the creatures of Xaoc. Some are fascinated and borderline obsessed with their ways of being. On the other hand some find them abominations, the mockery of their power, some even going to the extent of intimidating, tormenting or killing innocents. That is, however, quite rare, as the Entity of Reality had to be open-minded to keep its reign. With a colossal collection of millions of universes under its belt, the Entity held no strict morals and let itself immerse in each new rule or opinion. This clearly manifests in the beings of Xaoc as well - in the core, they show no objection towards how each being shows their own spectrum of love, violence or intelligence. 

The creatures of Xaoc are inherently social chameleons thanks to the many unique features they share. Their knowledge about dimensions and reality tie them like no other - their guilds and fixes give them a common purpose. Additionally, the mission to keep the timeline intact fascinates most of them, the concept of existence inherently embedding itself in the tissue of their relationships.

Of course, not all abide by this idyllic situation. Some have belief in the abandonment of the old system and returning to their once all-powerful form. To them, being passive and softhearted is a waste of their heritage. Furthermore, some creatures are simply unaware of the common beliefs, due to landing further away from the main cluster. Lastly, of course, there are individuals who wish to free themselves from the burden of the greater good and desire to traverse the galaxy on their own terms.

As for siblings, these creatures do not harbour a natural blood relation of any kind. Atoms of their abstract energy may come from nearby clusters, but their knowledge or care about these kinds of relations are omitable. On the other hand, familiar level bonds do exist with the related terms, but they are strictly self-declared. 

Additionally, the concept of romantic partners is foreign to them as well. Their ways of affection vary greatly per individual, learned through their travels of meeting other creatures and adapting. Oftentimes each is eventually equipped with a variety of ways to show affection.

 


 

LANGUAGE

 

No words said, yet they understand each other perfectly.  Their telepathic communication relies on emotions, visuals and memories rather than linguistics. Their cosmic gel of a brain is lined with a thin energy field that ensures mutual consent for transmissions. Within seconds, whatever they wanted to communicate should be concluded. Even the enormous information of a whole civilization may be transferred within a traditional hour.

The first alphabet were developed by the Xaeconians that were communicated through shifting floating blood from their bodily slits should they lose the ability to telepathically communicate in emergencies. The sharpness match its straightforwardness [and you, the reader, are able to perceive it] as pictured below:

NAMES

 

There are countless ways an individual born from the Entity of Reality [or of Planet Xaoc native] are named by their fellow locals or themself. However, to put things simply, they rely on vivid imagery telepathically. Initially, the young or unfamiliar to the main citadel inhabitants are regarded to with a mental image, turned into spoken phrase, relating to their generative circumstances. Sometimes they may reference their own appearance, but spun in a more poetic sense.

It is a straightforward method of revealing one's origins - immediately telling a story of their surface level temperament that simultaneously provides context whether others should be at calm or on guard of their presence. The aforementioned phrase is eventually condensed into a chosen word from it, then transformed into a few syllables by habit or preference. Sometimes, further variations are added with the letter X as a homage to their species name.

For example: a Xopas with crystallized jelly spawned on a garden - may initially be described or referred to as "Shimmers near stone and petal" and peruse any random word from that such as Stone or Petal, for an early version of their name. Taking random syllables from these would give us: Shi, Mer, Ne, Ar, Sto, Pe, Tal. Which could lead to revisioned names such as Art, Stoi, Neshi, Talto, or Pear. Variations may include: Sio, Nexi, Taxto, and so on.

Another example: a Xulap found resting for centuries underground until they outgrew their cave - may be described by others as "Space insufficient interrupted fish's rest" then referred to as any one word from there, like Fish or Rest as a starting name. Taking syllables from these would provide: Ace, In, Su, Cent, Ter, Ted, Res. Which could form further personalized names such as Ceres, Inac, Tesu, or Atin in their future. Variations could lead to Crex, Exu, or Axit as well.

This is not restricted to Earth's English at all, many languages are openly and widely used - especially if the individual prefers what is native to them or have grown alongside with should they have been raised or felt true belonging elsewhere in the cosmos. Sometimes, names are also adapted based on their life experiences, potentially distancing from the process above entirely.

Additionally, several follow their own preferences further outside the norm, either uniquely chosen from what is conceptually significant to them, or a favored idea, event, object, theme, fauna, or company in memoriam that they wish to identify closely with due to sentimental value. There is no one true method that the community of Planet Xaoc abides by.

 


 

ALTERNATIVE NICKNAMES

 

Mortals, other entities, and even Planet Xaoc inhabitants themselves acknowledge each other with strange and unique alternative referrals based on their temperament and abilities. These terms are often used as a lighthearted substitutes to their species names for both comical and serious intentions, which can be seen in historical texts, typical day to day speech, and even humorous digs on each other from rivalry or competition, and even affectionate pranks.

On a neutral senseXaeconians are occassionally referred to as "Soul Watchers" or "Soul Gazers", primarily originating from superstition that folks from their kind are able to analyze the subconcious of anyone from simply standing near them, when in reality, such an ability with precision would require decades of practice. Xopas on the other hand are commonly referred to as "Temporary Visitors" or "Pocketwatches" based on their ability of being able to hop from timeline to timeline within a restricted length until their blood thins out. Xatli are known for their spacefarring habits, resulting to nicknames of "Evermore Wanderers" or "Domain Pioneers" in referral to their cartographical occupations. Lastly, Xulap have been widely referred to as "Mirror Whales" or "Lens Kin" for being able to bypass the logic of refraction to obscure their presense within opaque figures.

On a playfully insulting senseXaeconians have been teased as "Dream Mimes" or worse, "Emotional Leach" from ill intended jest assuming they have tendencies to be psychological manipulators based on their abilities, even if this is far from the truth of their typical pacifist nature. Xopas have been childishly joked as "Time Slimes" or cute "Jelly Turtles" as an unserious swing at their appearances, strangely diminishing their ability to bend the fabric of time itself. Xatli have gotten called "Screenface" nicknames due to their floating scenes, or "Cosmic Umbrellas" for their poncho wings, but ultimately either causes more confusion to the recipient rather than offense. Then lastly, Xulap have also been playfully referred to as "Ghostfish" (Gossipfish) or "Postmen of Xaoc" for their ability to phase and merge within objects and walls in secrecy; leading to eavesdropping with businesses they are potentially unprivy to.

On a positive senseXaeconians have been widely praised as "Heart Sages and Healers" or "Truce Guides", for their innate determination for prioritizing in providing any form of assistance when it comes to resolutions in conflict, or assistive counsellors to emotional turmoils of any degree. Xopas have been fondly noted as "Companions of Moments" in historical tales from other dimensions, or "Interlude Drums" as beings who have provided impactful changes in a timeline [as a dutiful contribution] to their species overarchive goal of repairing realities. Xatli have been elevated as "Harbingers of Passage" or "Stargaze Nobility" in referral to their speedy and efficient ability of assistive travels and astrological expertise. Then finally, Xulap were proudly titled as "Astral Wardens" or "Flux Witnesses" by their fellows, for oftentimes volunteering as a crew's frontline for missions relating to cosmic rescues and exploration; scoping the area to ensure much needed safety before proceeding.

 

 

POLITICS


 

PILLARS OF PLANET XAOC

 

The Queens are the acting organs of the late Entity or Reality: Brain, Eyes, Skin, Heart, Bones, Lungs, Veins, and Guts. Holding reality in their own hands, paving the path for the laws of existence, they govern over all of Xaoc’s creatures. Adapting their parent’s unpredictable personality, each Queen’s personality mirrors a different kind of jester, entertained by their dimension’s children and their tales. They weave the thread of fate as they try sewing reality’s pieces together, keeping it from collapsing on Xaoc and themselves.

Their undying efforts are helped by the Assistants. Each Queen employs one assistant, totaling eight assistants. They are varying in nature and work ethic - high strength levels come with an unpredictable personality. Some may be obedient as a sheep, while some seek every window and opportunity to assert their dominance, with dutiful pride, over their community.

Assistants are diligent creatures who control the flow of work, assign tasks from their Queens to the common folk and take care of high profile quests if needed. This includes distributing these pieces of work to their Guild and their commissioners. Each assistant favors their own ways in splitting the job, and history shows this may lead to favourism and superiority, maybe even conflicts between Guilds. The Queens do not police such a thing, although, of course, all would like to see their own Guild be the most profitable.

On the other hand, they attempt to not select Guild managers as Assistants anymore. Their high position is hard to mask, but accidents slip by. A manager placed in such a high position would enable a singular guild to hoard enormous wealth and influence in such a short period of time. This keeps managers in a respectable, but controllable position under the Assistants.

Concentrated in the Aptitude Lagoon, eight Guilds carry the weight of fixes on their shoulders. Harbouring job opportunities, quests and more, Guilds distribute all kinds of tasks that will contribute to fixes. Founded by the Queens and managed by their Assistants, needed by the whole of Xaoc, these groups maintain a high level of power and respect.

LEGEND OF THE TWIN SHARDS

Ethereal shell of reality, hollow, barely even existent. The void where once organs were is now filled with space as parts of the empty body took their own path. A beating heart or a feeling skin - each organ took their own shape, separated from each other yet intertwined in their very nature. 

Blinding oath, seamless promise of a forever bright land. Cursed to incompletion, the Entity of Reality is sacrificed in exchange for the life of its own pieces. Broken, shall it not come in vain. First segment to exit the lifeless body devours any opposing power, darkness shall not return as it combusts. The newborn light shines pure. Delicate hands caress the remaining piece of reality as the glowing shard drifts to enter the atmosphere of the strange planet. Stepping upon the foreign, yet familiar land, shall the shard drink the void and fill it with bliss.

Laying on the empty shore, the river of light parts to release its twin light. The second shard does not shine as bright, instead takes on a solid body. The shape of a mere caterpillar resides on the riverbed, guarding its flowing sibling. As time takes form, battling the laws of reality, shall it have its effect on the twins. The first collapse was troublesome for the younger shard. As the river of light got tired of shining, the empty shore alarmed the soft caterpillar.

Crawling through biomes of the unknown, pleading the crowned creatures of reality: save my other half. Thus, they do. The Second twin returns home and rests as dust on the side of its reborn sibling. This ceremony shall be heard by the cosmos each year for a brief absence of light. Each time, the Second Shard learns, strengthening its light with no brightness but with brilliance. From caterpillar to butterfly, butterfly to feathered creature. Evolving with necessity, the younger twin remains the sole protector and messenger of the river of light. Shall the collapses of the First Shard remain in the care of the Second sibling, shall no darkness exist without light.

 


 

HISTORICAL IMPACT

 

The legend above entails the process of how positions of power, right below the Queens, are continously cycled. It is believed that the first sentient being, born from the Entity of Reality's catclysmic and explosive death, resembled a dense ball of abstract energy, eventually forming the silhoette of a hardened shard. It lands on what is now called Planet Xaoc, a gargantuan planet covered with desolate glassy oceans - the Shard giving its waters calm, then a sense of wake and life, followed by the ability to withstand housing even more sentient and abstracted living forms originating from the Entity of Reality's essence.

There is danger in a conglomerate of abstract beings crowding in any one area after all, as these beings are not only unfamiliar with their unpolished abilities, but newfound autonomy versus having been simply a cog following alongside their former whole's intentions for millenia. Fortunately, this Shard brings stability to deflect paradoxes where necessary, turning Planet Xaoc into a stable home for its current cosmic inhabitants without the worry of destroying themselves or their surroundings in the process. This gave them the space to explore their sentience, as well as recollection of their initial responsibilities and how they wish to continue repairing multi-dimensional realities' wounds.

Some believe that this Shard is a cosmic child; perhaps Reality itself reborn - that death was a necessary procedure as its former mold was only a shell. While others believe it is simply the Entity of Reality's power in its rawest form, unfortunately tainted with fear and desperately gripping at any nearby heavenly body that would not break from its impact - before it could have disappointingly diminished within the expanse of space, or consumed by the Leviathan that arduously haunts it.

The gleaming Shard [and its sibling parts], now residing within the planet's core caverns, have its cosmic roots deeply embedded throughout the entire planet in form of an unexplainable and invisible webbing throughout its biomes and atmosphere. Some say that the Shard takes multiple forms for every entrant of its cavern: an avian of blinding light, an everflowing river, a pulsating mass of crystals, an insect in metamoprohsis, and so forth - but a commonality is that it is in constant animation where it rests, and have an overwhelming shimmer of everglowing shards.

The Shard is diligently tended to by several Assistants, offering their own abstract energy in form of cosmic blood in order to keep its parts constantly flowing throughout the Planet.

Stemming from the energy demand, the possition of an Assitant is intentionally and openly self-sacrificial. It can only be fulfilled for a year at once, else the Queen's chosen Assistants may risk death that no one wishes upon on them. Capturing both the essence of the position, and the attention of the common folk, the Queens hold the Rite of Nimbus at the end of each Assistant year, celebrating another fruitful year and the upcoming next. The common folk hold feasts, markets and participate in traditional games.

The celebrations last weeks, allowing everyone to rest and recharge for the upcoming year. The Nimbus Trials take place as well, allowing for Assistant candidates to compete for the love of the Queens and the approval of the planet. Their Highnesses keep an eye on the trials alongside the viewers, picking and choosing their own favourites in the process. Their choices vary each year, almost unpredictable in nature, but the Queens elect their final nominees by the end of the Rite. The Shard’s collapse, in form of its imagery at an intentional halt announced by its current postman, marks the reveal of this new wave of Assistants with the coming of the new assistant year. 

 

 

CALENDAR


 

“Mighty soldiers ran dry, I plead for the recovery of the light’s drained course.” — The new set of assistants pledge allegiance to Xaoc as they escort the second shard back to its sibling and refill the river with their own energies - a new assistant year thus begins. Reality may have shattered to pieces, but Xaoc is still bound by the laws of time. The creatures of Xaoc settled with a date to fill their calendars with:

 

FIX / SEASON / ASSISTANT YEAR 

 

To exist in Xaoc means one with an eternal flow of work in order to fix everything that becoming disjointed pieces of reality has caused. The Aptitude Lagoon’s guilds make sure to track successful jobs and quests, both of which contribute to the total fixes done. The counter updates globally, marking each date of the season as the amount of fixes achieved.

Seasons themselves divide an assistant year to four equal phases, with the names Raw, Fresh, Cold, Mold (lasting what we perceive as three months each, akin to Earth's quarter of a year). This was partially inspired by the imagery the Shard and its sibling show when visited.

Finally, assistant years are the period under which a set of assistants govern. This crucial period’s start is denoted by the event Xaoc’s creatures call the Collapse of the First Shard. All legends praise the First Shard as the one creator of light - this fraction of reality presently manifests as an illuminated river, stemming from a waterfall hidden beneath known territories. The river’s guardian is an ever evolving creature, its sibling, often nicknamed as the Second Shard. Currently residing in the form of a bird, the Second Shard takes the role of a messenger. When the light river runs out, the collapse begins and the bird delivers the news to the Queens before turning into ashes. The imagery of the Shard [and its sibling parts] constantly change, but this visual representation of itself has thus far stayed the longest and is presently considered most well known even of commonfolk that are unaware of where its cavern is.

(As an example: Earth's January 1st of 2026 can be translated as Planet Xaoc's Raw / 31415926535 /  2026 - with the middle number varying to how many fixes were accomplished that year.)

 


 

Nimbus RITE AND ITS Trials

 

The first day of Mold welcomes the beginning of the Rite of Nimbus, while the eighth kickstarts the Nimbus trials. These gruelling, but extravagant games will equip the Queens with the knowledge to decide on the next wave of Assistants based on how they take the challenges they face.

The first week of Mold gives the opportunity for any creature of Xaoc to submit their name to the trials. Once the time for admission is over, the competition is opened by one of the Queens, her speech inspiring candidates and exhilarating the viewers. Held in the Mournfell Shards’ Bloodworn Stadium, the central construction houses over thousands of spectators. Millions of eyes follow the candidates on their journey to stealing the assistant positions, but only eight of them will succeed. 

Representing each organ, the candidates must hold through typical challenges of the position. In order to test them, each trial is designed by one of the Queens corresponding to their respective guilds:

  • Brain Trial — Requiring wit and resilience, the Brain trial relies on endless labyrinths and puzzles. Spiraling in the unlit alleys, solving tasks are matters of life or death for the candidates in the hands of the Queen of intellect. 

  • Eyes Trial — Vicious, enduring, flawless. The Queen of Eyes expects her Assistant to withstand challenges of time and pain, while keeping themselves together. Her trial is different every year - from staying silent for hours to killing hundreds of multidimensional pests infesting and rotting the fabric of reality (some of which are zombified former Planet Xaoc creatures or inhabitants), this section remains quite unpredictably violent. 

  • Skin Trial — Everyone enjoys a thrill of a good fight. Hand-to-hand combat dominated the Skin trial, where challengers face off in one-on-one fights. Sheer capacity and control of powers are showcased to decide the strongest of them all. 

  • Heart Trial — Sharp tongues face off in debates, as some with libraries in place of their brains compare their lexical knowledge in quizzes. This trial may seem peaceful, but participants go throat to throat to prove their love for the people and knowledge about their own culture.  

  • Bones Trial — Cornered into a room full of junk and tools, the candidates must escape by production of a savior device. Precise handiwork, stability, and even teamwork are crucial in the Bones trial to survive and prove one’s worth. 

  • Lungs Trial — Determined to save the wounded, yet withstanding emotional challenges are the focus of the lung trial. Taking priorities in saving creatures, making the choice of loss, but also caring for others, this task focuses on softness and the love for nature.

  • Veins Trial — Look up, listen, do what you are told. The Veins trial builds on instructions, as participants have to precisely follow whatever they are supposed to. Quick. Efficient. Each mistake may be as deadly as it would be in their future position. 

  • Guts Trial — Seeding, harvesting, preparing or organizing crops, candidates must excel in punctuality and knowledge about wheats and grasses. The most scrumptious brewings are created in this trial to prove one’s mastery of harvest. The most delicate crops make consumption thrilling. 

The trials conclude before the last week of the year, promising a few days of silence and rest for everyone involved before the rush of the new era begins. As soon as the Shard collapses, the Queens reveal their choice of Assistants as they fulfill their first duty of refilling the light shore. 

 

 

GUILDS


 

The Eight Guilds themselves

Ascension BoardRepresentative of Planet Xaoc's knowledge as a whole, governed by the Queen of Brain.

Carrying the knowledge of Xaoc on their shoulders, the Ascension Board investigates every fibre of life possible. From seeking out ancient languages to recording data about the laws of reality, this guild aims to collect all we know about Xaoc, including the key to open the Tides of Knowledge. Members are perceived as determined and committed, smart individuals living for the investigations and experiments, despite most of them being young students of the Hive. Their fix count is steady, contributing a large sum each year. 

 


 

Pivot CommissionRepresentative of Planet Xaoc's  Balance and Control, governed by the Queen of Eyes.

Do not let their small member count fool you - the Pivot Commission is the most influential guild of them all. Their eyes reach every corner of the planet, undeceived by foolery and magic. Carrying out arrests and hunts, this guild’s members are loyal, yet cold-blooded, serving the planet by keeping balance and order. Fixes flow from this guild, as more and more creatures attempt to bend rules in their favour - unsuccessfully, thanks to the Pivot members.  

 


 

Thorne Alliance — Representative of Planet Xaoc's  Defense, governed by the Queen of Skin.

Persistent and reliable - Thorne Alliance stands tall as an iron wall to stop any threats from entering Xaoc. From celestial anomalies to natural disasters, the members excel in stopping and neutralising any threats. While it may not be the most flashy job, most who work here are accomplished and excel in confidence and reliability. Their hard work is recognized by the fix count, as their consistent amounts rise every year. 

 


 

Sentry Society — Representative of Planet Xaoc's  Culture, governed by the Queen of Heart.

In the midst of it all, creatures who inhabit Xaoc are the universe itself. Sentry Society ensures care and entertainment to contribute to a happy planet. Event organization, keeping traditions alive, banks, food and even education fall under this guild’s jurisdiction. Thanks to this colorful repertoire, its members also vary in personality - often making them targets of jokes and contempt. Despite that, most members are loving and hard-working. Sentry Society is the largest guild out of the eight, with a hefty amount of fixes in each rotation. 

 


 

Cadre League — Representative of Planet Xaoc's  Structure and Repairs, governed by the Queen of Bones.

Cadre League is the backbone of Xaoc from rebuilding collapsed buildings to spawning brand new constructions, they excel at structural creations. While most members are well-educated and smart, the best of the best touch on repairing broken timelines and restoring celestial places as well. Most perceive them as strange, yet have respect for their work and intelligence. Their fix count often skyrockets by the end of the year, as most constructions come to an end in that period.

 


 

Foliole Rangers — Representative of Planet Xaoc's  Nature and Preservation, governed by the Queen of Lungs.

Foliole Rangers live close to nature and devote their time to nurture the flora and fauna, while restoring the ecosystem. Maintenance of their health is top priority, as most members feel a deep connection to everything that lives. The general public believes no evil creature would join the Rangers - being one of them is seen as a proof of purity and kindness. Not a large sum of fixes, yet steady as they keep up a regular schedule or caretaking and patrols. 

 


 

Spellbound Circle — Representative of Planet Xaoc's  Energy Flow and Magic, governed by the Queen of Veins.

Energy flows through every corner of Xaoc, and the Spellbound Circle took it as its mission to understand it. This small guild works with potions, monitors energy sources, performs rituals and takes care of anything that’s connected to magic. Due to its abstract nature, this niche guild collects passionate magic-experts, who are seen as quirky and bubbly. There were once rumors this guild operates as a cult, however their Queen quickly shut down the allegations. The fixes they contribute are few in count, but large in importance. 

 


 

Bedrock Department — Representative of Planet Xaoc's  Harvest, Resources, and Collections, governed by the Queen of Guts.

Carrying the title of the second largest guild, Bedrock Department supplies Xaoc with resources and manages storage. Members collect a wide range of resources, such as crops from fields they manage or ores they mine frequently. Additionally, preparing and manufacturing food, tools and items are also their responsibility. This guild is treated as an older sibling to the Sentry Society, as most see this handiwork more useful and mature compared to the arts of culture. Despite the stereotypies of egoists attending this guild, it is generally an environment where everyone has a role they fit, which makes it more natural to gain confidence. Fix-wise, their numbers are high and continue to raise it every year.

Fixes

 

Fixes are also known as guild missions, or formally completed sequence of actions that actively help the repair of the very fabric of time, space, and reality itself that brings before the Entity of Reality's death. The number of Fixes contributes to the community's perceived productivity per year.

The more fixes are made, the more Planet Xaoc grows stabilizes - further allowing its inhabitants to have better control of their abilities, craft items of assistance, develop new abstract technology, and an overall improvement of time for recreational activities, general relaxation, and community building.

Knowledge 

 

Xaoc Records — Journey along the planet’s leylines to investigate, and record your findings about their nature, especially anomalies that the Shard may have caused around its surrounding areas. 

Debate Lead — Organize and hold scientific debates or conferences for a discovery or discussion of any nature.

Transcript Translation — Investigate and translate old scrolls or long lost languages. 

Artifact Hunt — Seeking out specific items or artifacts that are mentioned in documents and legends or should theoretically exist. 

 


 

Balance AND Control 

 

Bounty Hunt — Seeking out and capturing any creature due to criminal activity, investigation purposes or other legal reasons. These missions often involve to the capture of individuals (or critters) further rips and intentional harm towards realities and timelines, then seeking a corrective path or potential exile bounded in runes that inhibit their abilities.

Peacekeeping Session — A neutral mediator settles conflicts between two creatures, tribes or fractions. These are voluntary missions on seeking out and responding to requested assistance for groups within guilds or travelling visitors struggling to have a middle ground with communication-heavy exchanges that may impact surroundings, livestock, resources, and other similar significant factors relating to inhabitants' livelihood.

Balance Monitoring — Keeping an eye on certain political and economic factors, while periodically creating records of its state. 

 


 

Defense 

 

Atmosphere Patrol — Regular shifts of defenders patrolling the celestial borders of Xaoc. 

Disaster Cleanup — Taking care of disaster relief by keeping the nearby residents safe, such as in case of wildfires, collapse of a building or untamed animals going rampant.

Threat Monitoring — A constant, periodic observation of the state of the defenses, often including preparation of coming up with potential solutions.

Item Patrol — Regular shifts of defenders patrolling a specific item’s containment place. 

 


 

Culture 

 

Event Planning — Organizing and executing an event of any kind for a community. 

Song Preservation — Singing or organizing choir nights to preserve songs and enhance the knowledge about them. This often refers to the memorization and practice of abstract mantras that the Entity of Reality have come to neurally collect to pacify pockets of realities where its guards consist of cosmic creatures communicating solely through melody.

Soothing Theatre — A theatrical performance covering hardships in Xaoc’s history, where crowds seek collective comfort from witnessing it together.

Feast Preparation — Preparing a community feast for a number of creatures for any occasion. 

Youngling Teachings — Holding classes for young creatures to teach the basis of life and offer support for typical hardships of youth. This may include a variety of species, even those not native to Planet Xaoc but have decided to lean towards its cause.

 


 

Structure AND Repairs 

 

Structure Planning — Creating a design or plan for any kind of structure to be built in Xaoc. These must keep in mind the Shard's current energy levels, as well as stability to withstand anomalous weather.

Float Repair — Repairing float mechanisms and restoring float properties of buildings and structures. 

Transportation Repair — Repairing any line of transport, restoring its ability to transfer creatures from one point to another. 

Reconstruction — Restoring ancient buildings or rebuilding structures that got damaged or collapsed. 

 


 

Nature AND Preservation 

 

Rarity Care — Seeking out endangered species of fauna and flora, later ensuring its survival by setting up protection or providing care of any kind. 

Spore Mapping — Creating maps of local fungal systems and monitoring their activities and energy levels. 

Gardening — Planting, maintaining and harvesting a garden of a specific plant.  

Fauna Healthcare — Curating medicine, providing assistance and curing wounded or ill animals. 

 


 

Energy Flow AND Magic

 

Untie Knots — Seeking out and releasing energy knots that are trapped in certain areas or regions.

Potion Brewing — Brewing potions based on existing recipes or preparing a brand new mixture.  

Source Care — Maintenance and delicate care of energy or magic sources of the planet. 

Magic Harvest — During meteor showers or other celestial events, harvest and store the magic generated by it.

 


 

Harvest, Resources, and Collections

 

Crop Farming — Planting, nurturing and harvesting a field of crops of any kind. 

Fishing — Visiting rivers, lakes and seas to catch and collect fish. 

Collection Organization — Organizing a larger amount of resources collected, either because the collection is new, messy or just recently moved to a new holding space.

Cloud Farming — Harvesting clumps of soft cloud particles for clothing and textile creation.

 


 

CURRENCY COMPENSATION

 

Sparks — The official currency on Planet Xaoc, ten Sparks can be referred to as a singualar Jolt, while ten Jolts (a hundred Sparks) can be referred to as a singular Volt.

The Sparks encapsulate leftover energy that scattered with the death of the Entity of Reality. These tiny magical capsules act as both the main currency and a versatile energy supply for the inhabitants of Xaoc, as there are endless possibilities for its usage - from food spice to healing purposes and vehicle fuel, this versatile energy bomb sparks everyone’s interest. 

With the Entity of Reality’s remains scattered in distant corners of the universe, billions of pieces of its power challenged the laws of time and space. Organic matter and time bent with reality shattering, many of the Entity’s power taking shapes of cores, crystals, dust particles or even meteorites. With uncertain amounts of time passing, these were starting to get utilized - environments incorporated them in their ecosystem, civilizations relied on them. 

However, it is easier said than done - at first, the cores caused irreversible damage to any Xaocian who dared to challenge them. Melting flesh with skin, blinding them or even taking their lives, the energy seemed untouchable for centuries. The potential was there - but someone had to dig it out. Thanks to Assistants and scientists working together, the first successful Sparks captured energy in a tiny, hard shell. The shards in Xaoc’s atmosphere provided excellent antidotes to the uncontrollable energies. Fusing the two, after years and years of perfecting, Sparks became the most common and widely accepted currency of Xaoc. 

Assistants and Queens themselves seek out the source energies yearly to provide to their communities and Guilds as payment. The creatures of Xaoc are free to utilize them however they wish - from fusing weapons, to trading and food seasoning, the possibilities are endless with Sparks.
