🪐 Traits are individual labels that specify unique physical attributes of a Planet Xaoc character, while rarities help organize these terms within an ARPG lens. If the user wishes to apply canon lore to their characters, this page's contents can provide further context of a character's backstory based on appearance.

🪐 Planet Xaoc peruses five rarities: 🟢 Common, 🔵 Rare, 🟡 Mystical, 🟣 Sacred, and 🔴 Anomaly.

🪐 Characters with "Old Gen" traits refer to retired traits that are no longer allowed to be used for newer designs. These can be kept, but must be redesigned to the current traiting roster before onsite ARPG-usage. Non-masterlisted designs (also known as unofficial or fan characters) are not moderated by official Planet Xaoc creators, so they do not need to abide by the following guidelines.

⭐ Rarity and traits went through an extensive simplification throughout late 2025. All changes are [listed on this news post].

⭐ Downgrades were compensated via notes added in STATS tab of affected characters. If you do not wish to use these on the character it is attached to, you can request for this to be transferred to a different redesign or MYO slot via an admin ticket. In the future, the ARPG will allow this to be liquidated for ARPG currency.
