Traits
Floating Jelly
lore:
-
Work in progress, to be added later.
usage:
-
Pieces of the Xopas' jelly have the ability to segment itself and float around. These may resemble a variety of flat or three-dimensional shapes, plants, objects, halos, etc - as long as they are complimentary to the Xopas's overall silhoette in some form.
-
These floating portions should not resemble actual body parts, fauna, or the seperated floating jelly bits having their own seperate sentience. For example: floating jelly bits shaped like an actual cat is not allowed, but a circle + two triangles above (to resemble a cat head) may be acceptable if it is complimentary to the overall silhoette of the character design (meaning: it properly reads as a floating jelly trait from a glance).

-
The Xaeco has the ability to obscure their bodily slits partially or entirely.
Scribblet

-

usage:
-
Allows the character to have a variant that looks like a literal simplified, veiny figure. The silhoette and its colors should be based on the main form.
-
Allows the character to have a variant where it only affects them partially: such as a limb or other specific body part. The original design (unaffected main form) should still be present on the masterlist image.

Mirror
lore:
-
Work in progress, to be added later.

-
There is no limit to how many duplicates the character is able to do.
-

-
This is a skill, and not necessary to be shown in the masterlist. For the ability to have multiple palettes and varying traits per additional duplicated body, you must also have the Anomaly: Morph trait.
-
As noted in our Terms of Service within community participation, members are always expected to be kind and respectful with representation of real world circumstances! Do not use harmful mental health stereotypes in any way.
Rogue Scene
lore:
-
Work in progress, to be added later.
usage:
-
This trait allows scenes to act strange. You may use one or multiple effects listed below (no limits):
-
The scene can be found elsewhere besides the upper torso area (such as the waist, legs, wrists, and tails).
-
The scene looks like it is glitching, blurred, or mosaic. It is difficult to decipher the imagery or visual it has.
-
The scene can be extremely enlarged in size, much larger than the head and torso combined.
Flight
lore:
-
Work in progress, to be added later.
usage:
-
Allows the addition of any amount of wings to your character, it can be toggled (disappear or re-appear).
-
For Xatli: Generated only on the arms, legs, or tails. This can also replace the ears. However, this should never overwhelm the silhoette nor replace the mandatory and correct poncho wing anatomy.
-
For Xaeco: Generated anywhere and any amount on the body. This can also replace the ears. Temporary blood wings generated from their bodily fissures do not count as that is a basic species function.
-
For Xulap: This trait allows wings to be generated anywhere on the body, and texture must be the same as what the body's already has traits-wise. This should not replace fins.
-
For Xopas: The wings are on the pulp body itself (the shell that contains the jelly). For jelly-wings, please refer to Rare: Winged Jelly.

Shimmer
lore:
-
Work in progress, to be added later.
usage:
-
The markings on the body are glowing (can be toggled), metallic: gold or silver, holographic, opal, sparkly, glittery, or have other forms of iridescence in rendering. You are welcome to mix and match the aforementioned rendering styles to the markings.
-
This can affect 80% of the design, just make sure to leave an obvious unaffected patch somewhere! This is in order for it to be recognizeable as coating, but not to be mistaken as an Anomaly: Elemental trait.
-
Diamond or "sparkle-shaped" markings on a character is not immediately classified to be under the Shimmer trait, especially if the artist's intention is for that to be a plain marking.
