Vexar is a Xulap who has thrown their lot in with Profit, acting as his primary Associate in the Xaoc universe. 

Abilities

Xulap Abilities

General Xulap Abilities: Vexar has the general abilities of a Xulap. They have the ability to phase through matter of any kind and share the ability with others in contact with them. They are able to manipulate aspects of matter, both in minor ways such as shaping materials, and in major ways such as adjusting landscapes and atmospheres. 

Phantom Form: Vexar also a Phantom Form, having the appearance of shadows with a constellation-esque design on their form. The area they can cover and affect with their abilities is quadrupled compared to their original range. Within the area they cover with their shadow, they can hide others in plain sight and grant them the ability to phase through matter. 

Morph: Vexar can morph into a smaller compact form as well as other forms, such as the appearance they typically take as an Associate of Profit. When in compact form, they have a strong and solid organic form resistant to any metaphysical distortions, though they do not have a ghostly body and they cannot phase through walls nor hide in shadows. 

Seer: Vexar can transform into one or more eyes. The size can vary, so long as it doesn't exceed the size of their main form. 

Perceptive: Vexar can manifest any number of eyes on their body and freely move them. 

Associate Abilities

As an Associate of Profit, Vexar is affected by Profit's "Asset Empowerment" ability. In exchange for Vexar's loyalty and contribution to Profit, their abilities related to their roles in Profit's ventures are enhanced. This includes improving their Xulap abilities, allowing them to create magical contracts, and allowing them to enter Gold at any time and leave wherever they'd like (allowing for what is, essentially, teleportation). 

History

Vexar formed in a world far from Planet Xaoc. As they gained awareness, they took notice of the mortal societies of the planet, observing them with curiosity amidst the shadows. The desires that drove those beings fascinated them, and they soon developed a desire of their own: to understand what it was all about. They shifted into forms that resembled the beings on that planet—though not perfectly—and began interacting with them. 

Their behavior was rather strange and alien to the denizens at first, with Vexar sometimes bluntly asking about what those people desired, but they learned the social norms quickly. Sometimes, they used their matter manipulation abilities to grant some of those desires, and it was then they realized the power they could hold by commanding those desires. Money, power, pleasure—mortals wanted all sorts of things, and it was fun to see how far they would go along with Vexar's demands in exchange. 

Eventually, Vexar grew bored of that world. Conveniently, they encountered Azxa at this time, who was traveling alongside Xahaal. The two—mostly Azxa—explained about Planet Xaoc and offered to take Vexar there. Vexar agreed, curious, and thus joined the traveling pair. On the way there, Xahaal offered a bit of advice to Vexar on how to use their abilities, though for the most part, they lazed around. Vexar found Xahaal's sheer lack of desire interesting… but only for a while. Once they arrived, Vexar did not hesitate to depart and explore. 

Planet Xaoc was an entirely new experience for Vexar. New norms, new lifestyles, and of course, new desires. The desires of other realitykin were rather more difficult to grant, though Vexar soon found that they could create desires as well—by introducing interesting items and experiences. It was fun, learning, creating, and fulfilling the desires of others, and Vexar wanted more. They soon ventured beyond Planet Xaoc once more, having fun with both mortals and realitykin.

One day, Vexar crossed paths with Profit while they were enjoying their time in a mortal society. Vexar felt oddly drawn to the strange being—out of place, somehow, but exuding a power that seemed to bend reality itself. They approached, and Profit greeted them with joviality, expressing interest in the "manner of creature they were" and "what they were getting up to around here." Without hesitation, Vexar shared their infatuation with desires, and Profit clapped his hands in delight. 

"My, how serendipitous! I must invite you to Gold. I feel as though you would flourish there in ways you never could here. You could not only reach your potential, but expand it, for where I am from, imagination becomes reality. There is only one thing you must agree to," Profit said, grinning widely. "Abide by the dogma of Gold: 'profit for all, profit for Profit.'" 

Needless to say, Vexar agreed, and Profit was right—they flourished in Gold. They spent a timeless eternity there in endless delight. Then, Profit appeared before them again with an offer to become an Associate. They agreed enthusiastically and expanded their ventures, soon returning to the Xaoc universe—this time, as Profit's emissary.
